Job summary

Fort Wayne Metals Research Products LLC is seeking a Maintenance Tech to handle welding, machining, electrical, plumbing, and general maintenance in a fast-paced production environment.

You will work with Engineers and Production Coordinators, maintain drives, repair equipment, keep inventories, and ensure safe, reliable operations. 40-hour week with potential overtime; health and wellness benefits described.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency is required.
• Associate's degree in related technical area preferred.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in the industrial maintenance field.
• Minimum 1 year of lathe experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine mechanical, welding, basic machining maintenance.
• Maintain AC and DC drives, and troubleshoot as necessary.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair malfunctioning equipment and machines.
• Record parts inventories and prepare a parts list for the Team Leader.
• Prioritize maintenance jobs based on work orders.
• Document work orders in the system.
• Install water, gas, and air piping, and electrical power when a machine is added or moved.
• Coordinate with Engineers and Production Coordinators to meet goals.
• Perform other duties as requested.
