Bodycote plc is seeking a Maintenance Technician based in Grand Rapids, MI to perform essential heat treatment support duties under the Maintenance Manager. This role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and teamwork in a heavy industrial environment.

Responsibilities include preventative maintenance, equipment inspections, and thorough documentation of repairs and modifications to support customer specifications and facility efficiency.

Competenze

• Education: technical degree preferred; high school diploma with 3–5 years industrial maintenance experience acceptable.
• Strong troubleshooting skills with mechanical equipment and analytical mindset.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic databases.

Mansioni

• Implement the facility's preventative maintenance program and follow manufacturer guidelines.
• Conduct scheduled inspections of fluid levels, water flows, oils, filters, and related items.
• Maintain a clean, organized Maintenance Department; document repairs and modifications.
• Assist in equipment performance testing and respond to out-of-spec conditions as directed.
• Record all maintenance activities and manage spare parts inventory.
