Job summary

Wanzl North America is seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician in Newton, NC to support manufacturing operations. You will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment and facility systems to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations.

Responsibilities include diagnosing mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems; performing preventive and corrective maintenance; interpreting schematics and drawings; and ensuring a safe work environment with proper

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical training preferred.
• 5+ years of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience.
• Experience troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Experience with material handling equipment and powered industrial trucks preferred.
• Manufacturing environment experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems on production and support equipment.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues involving production machinery and related equipment.
• Install, connect, and relocate machinery and equipment as needed.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, blueprints, and work orders.
• Perform general building and facility maintenance as needed.
• Identify equipment issues and recommend repairs or improvements to reduce downtime.
• Follow lockout/tagout and electrical safety requirements; maintain a clean, safe work area.
