Job summary

Automation Personnel Services is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician in Columbus, Mississippi. The role focuses on repairing and maintaining machinery including electric motors, conveyors, and production equipment.

The position offers an hourly pay rate of $22.00 to $30.00 and a Monday–Friday schedule from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Candidates should have 2–4 years in industrial maintenance and be proficient at troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

Qualifications

Two to four years of Industrial Maintenance experience.
Proficient in troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.
Knowledge of SMAW and MIG welding.
High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Observe mechanical equipment in operation to locate performance issues.
Dismantle equipment to gain access to and replace or repair defective parts.
Examine form and texture of parts to detect imperfections.
Inspect used parts to determine changes in dimensional requirements when fitting new parts.
Repair and replace defective hydraulic valves, mechanical equipment, electrical components and other equipment as required.
Install specific functional and structural parts in machinery.
Perform preventative maintenance at regular intervals on mechanical parts and large equipment.
Follow all policies and procedures as outlines in the Employee Handbook and various other sources as they relate to the job function.
