Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands seeks a PM Technician in Dallas to perform preventive maintenance, inspections, lubrication, and minor repairs on production equipment and facility systems. You will help improve reliability, reduce downtime, and support daily production targets while upholding safety and proper CMMS documentation.

The role emphasizes communication with production and maintenance teams, adherence to LOTO and PPE, and accurate reporting.

Qualifications

• A minimum of one (3) year of related work experience in manufacturing or a comparable work environment.
• Related degree from a college, technical college, or military experience.
• Skilled in the use of hand and power tools; ability to take apart machines, equipment, or devices to remove and replace defective parts.
• Ability to work effectively to meet deadlines.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
• General mathematical knowledge and proficiency with basic measuring instruments.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance, inspections, lubrication, adjustments, and minor repairs on production equipment and facility support systems.
• Help improve equipment reliability and reduce unplanned downtime while maintaining a safe work environment.
• Support daily production goals and ensure proper housekeeping, tool control, and parts usage.
• Complete CMMS documentation accurately and on time.
• Identify potential failures before breakdowns and communicate with production and maintenance teams.
• Ensure compliance with LOTO, PPE, and plant safety requirements.
