Job summary

Alliance Precision Plastics Corporation in North Carolina seeks a Production Maintenance Technician to upkeep plastic injection presses and related equipment. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot automated systems, and work with hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and welding tasks.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, 3–5 years of maintenance experience, strong communication, energy, and ability to work overtime.

Qualifications

Must possess a wide range of technical skills including manufacturing automation, robotics, pneumatics, hydraulics, plumbing, electrical, welding and HVAC.
Certifications or coursework in any of these areas would be helpful.
Experience with plastic injection presses by Engel and Arburg is preferred.
Experience with maintenance and repair activities for a variety of auxilliary support equipment.
Must be able to operate a wide variety of hand and power tools.
Must be forklift trained or willing to learn.
Must be comfortable in a manufacturing environment.
Must possess safe work practices and be knowledgeable of OSHA related standards.
Must be able to work overtime, including weekends, when required.
