Wayne Farms LLC in Dobson, NC is seeking an experienced maintenance technician to provide general and preventive maintenance on poultry processing equipment. You will follow PPE protocols, read technical drawings, and maintain PM systems while ensuring compliance with food industry regulations.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in manufacturing maintenance, experience with ammonia systems, and fluent English. This full-time role requires flexibility to work weekends and lift up to 100 lbs as needed.

Competenze

• General and preventive maintenance in food manufacturing.
• 2+ years in industrial maintenance.
• Fluent English (speaking, reading, writing).
• Weekend availability (Sat/Sun if needed).
• Basic machinery knowledge (1st processing poultry, de-boning, marination).
• Associate’s Degree or Technical Certificate (or equivalent experience).
• 3+ years maintenance experience in manufacturing.
• 3+ years experience with ammonia systems.
• Read technical drawings.
• Knowledge of food industry regulations.
• Written and verbal communication skills.
• Interpersonal skills.
• Proficient with PM systems and MS Office.
• Lift up to 100 lbs occasionally.
• Walk, stoop, kneel, crawl frequently; climb occasionally.
• Exposure to wet/cold and wet/hot environments.
