Job summary

Amcor is seeking a maintenance technician at our Sarasota facility to perform electrical and mechanical repairs on all equipment and to conduct preventative maintenance to ensure production uptime. You will troubleshoot electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and PLC systems, and complete ISO/SQF documentation in a safe, GMP/HACCP compliant environment.

You will support mold changes when needed and collaborate with a high‑performing team, contributing to process improvements and safety initiatives.

Qualifications

• Electrical and mechanical repairs and maintenance on all equipment, including pneumatic, hydraulic, and PLC systems.
• Adherence to safety, GMP, HACCP, and ISO/SQF documentation requirements.
• Team collaboration and willingness to assist with mold changes and other tasks.

Responsibilities

• Install, alter, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical and mechanical systems on all equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance within specified timelines for thermo department and building utilities.
• Complete required documentation in ISO/SQF and support safe, compliant operations.
• Assist with additional tasks as needed as a team player.
