Job summary

Amcor is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform preventive and repair maintenance on production machinery, ensuring continuous film production while upholding safety standards.

The role requires strong electrical knowledge, experience with PLCs, and the ability to read schematics. The technician will work on-call, may require overtime, and participate in equipment installation and project work across the plant.

Qualifications

• Industrial maintenance certificate or technical school degree.
• Minimum 5 years proven job experience.
• Knowledge of Lock Out/Tag Out procedures.
• Proficient in Word and Excel; read/write English.

Responsibilities

• Operate safely with PPE and keep production equipment in safe working order.
• Follow work instructions, safety rules, and policies.
• Multi-craft technician focusing on safety, quality, and production improvements.
• On-call in rotation; overtime as needed for unplanned events.
• Assist in breakdowns and repairs including pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
• Install equipment and utilities, including conduit bending and wire pulling.
• Tackle projects assigned by the Plant Maintenance Manager.
• Demonstrate initiative to start tasks without prompting.
• Adhere to inventory control and train teammates.
