Job summary
Petoskey Plastics is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician at the Hartford City plant to maintain manufacturing equipment, perform preventive and reactive maintenance, and repair based on priorities. You will work with PLCs, document activities in the work order system, and uphold safety and quality standards across production lines.
The role requires a two-year technical degree and at least five years in industrial maintenance, with strong PLC troubleshooting, electrical and mechanical
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years industrial equipment maintenance experience in manufacturing.
- Two year technical degree required.
- Proficient PLC programming and troubleshooting abilities.
Responsibilities
- Maintain preventive and reactive maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
- Manage PM work orders, parts, and documentation.
- Train operators on equipment use.
- Troubleshoot PLCs and read ladder logic.
- Read schematics and wire electrical systems.
- Ensure safety and coordinate improvements with management.
- Perform calculations related to drive systems and sizing.
- Identify root causes and implement permanent solutions.
- Maintain inventory levels with Maintenance Coordinator.
- Complete tasks assigned by management.
