Job summary

Sensient Technologies Corporation is expanding its plant and is adding a Maintenance Mechanic to the team. If you enjoy learning new skills and working independently while keeping operations safe, Sensient offers growth and development opportunities.

You will perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot PLC/VFD and electrical systems, and maintain hydraulic and pneumatic equipment. Excellent pay and benefits accompany onboarding and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Read and follow equipment manuals and schematics.
• Troubleshoot and repair industrial equipment including 480V 3-phase systems.
• Understand hydraulics, electrical, welding, HVAC; willingness to learn new skills.
• Commit to ongoing education through schooling, seminars or training.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative mechanical maintenance and emergency repairs.
• Use measuring instruments to locate problems and adjust components.
• Troubleshoot PLC, VFD, AC/DC equipment and test voltages; maintain pumps and valves.
