Job summary
Sensient Technologies is seeking an Industrial Electrician to join our Livingston, CA maintenance team. You will troubleshoot and repair industrial control systems, install wiring and electrical components, and perform preventive maintenance on electrical and pneumatic equipment.
The role requires a degree or Journeyman status with substantial electrical experience in manufacturing. This is a 24/7 facility job with on-site work and strong safety training in LOTO and ARC flash.
Qualifications
- Degree or Journeyman status with instrumentation/electrical duties in manufacturing.
- Competence in 3-phase power distribution and 120VAC circuits; read schematics and ladder logic.
- Ability to install and repair motors, switches, panels, fuses and lighting; perform preventive maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, maintain and repair industrial control systems and related devices (PLC, HMI, DCS, drives).
- Install/repair electrical components (wiring, conduits, cable assemblies).
- Perform preventive maintenance on electrical/electronic equipment and components.
- Inspect and repair transformers, switches, wiring, and control equipment.
- Plan wiring layouts and install equipment plant-wide.
