Job summary

Sensient Technologies Corporation is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to join our growing plant in Missouri. You will perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot equipment, and support safety and environmental guidelines while keeping operations reliable.

The role requires reading manuals and schematics, troubleshooting PLC/VFD and 480V systems, and applying basic hydraulics, electrical, welding, and HVAC knowledge to repair machinery. Ongoing training is offered to broaden your skills.

Qualifications

Read and understand manuals and schematics.
Troubleshoot and repair industrial equipment including motors and pumps.
Knowledge of hydraulics, electrical basics and welding.
Willingness to continue education and training.

Responsibilities

Perform preventative mechanical maintenance on machinery and equipment and follow plant safety guidelines.
Utilize measuring and testing instruments to locate problems and adjust parts.
Troubleshoot PLC, VFD, AC/DC equipment and test voltages (e.g., 480V 3-phase, 4-20mA).
Maintain pneumatic and hydraulic systems, control valves, pumps.
Welding skills or willingness to attain, and work with shift mechanics and operators.
