Job summary

Sensient Technologies Corporation is expanding its plant and adding a Maintenance Mechanic to our team. We value adaptability, independence, and a proactive mindset in maintaining our diverse machinery and systems.

You will perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot PLC and VFD controlled equipment, and support production with safe, efficient operation. We offer extensive onboarding, development opportunities, and competitive pay.

Qualifications

Must have HS Diploma or GED and ability to read manuals and schematics.
Experience troubleshooting industrial equipment, including engines, motors (480V 3-phase), pumps and HVAC systems.
Basic hydraulics, electrical, welding knowledge; willingness to learn new equipment.
Willingness to pursue schooling, seminars, or training sessions.

Responsibilities

Perform preventative mechanical maintenance on machinery and respond to emergency repairs.
Use measuring and testing instruments to locate problems and adjust components.
Troubleshoot PLC, VFD, AC/DC equipment and test voltages.
Maintain pneumatic/hydraulic systems, valves, pumps.
Welding skills preferred or willingness to learn.
