Job summary

Sensient Technologies is expanding its Maintenance team in the United States. The Maintenance Mechanic will perform preventative mechanical maintenance, troubleshoot PLC and VFD systems, and repair equipment to keep plant operations safe and efficient.

Requires high school diploma or GED, ability to read manuals, and willingness to advance skills through training. Candidates should be able to work on engines, motors, pumps, HVAC, and related systems with a focus on reliability.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and understand equipment manuals and schematics.
• Troubleshoot and repair industrial equipment including engines, motors (480V 3 phase), pumps, HVAC.
• Basic understanding of hydraulics, electrical, welding; eager to learn new skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative mechanical maintenance on machinery and equipment.
• Conduct emergency repairs and follow safety guidelines.
• Locate problems with measuring tools and replace defective parts.
• Triage pneumatic/hydraulic systems and test control instruments.
