Job summary

MSI Express is seeking a Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot, repair and maintain equipment per electrical diagrams and manuals, while following GMP and safety procedures. Use CMMS on a mobile device to document work orders and ensure product integrity and customer specs.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, belt/drive inspections, and repairing motors, PLCs, controls, conveyors, and related systems; teardown/rebuild of gearboxes and actuators; welding and fabrication as needed;

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, manuals and diagrams.
• Minimum of High School Diploma.
• 2 years industrial experience preferred, especially in food manufacturing.
• Proficient with CMMS for work order documentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive maintenance on drives, belts, fluids and filters.
• Document work performed in CMMS using mobile device.
• Troubleshoot, repair and maintain motors, PLCs, control circuits and related equipment.
• Teardown and rebuild gearboxes, clutches and actuators.
• Weld using MIG, TIG or Arc for repairs and fabrications.
• Follow safety, GMP and company policies; train junior staff.
