Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking a hands-on maintenance technician for our Marion, OH facility. You will diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and automated equipment, ensuring uptime and safety across production lines.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Experience with PLC and computer-controlled equipment.
• Ability to read electrical schematics, technical diagrams, and equipment documentation.
• Experience maintaining automated manufacturing equipment.
• Strong diagnostic, problem-solving, and root-cause analysis skills.
• Commitment to safety and working in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair manufacturing equipment.
• Troubleshoot PC/PLC-controlled equipment, sensors, drives, and control systems.
• Use electrical schematics and documentation to identify root causes and restore operation.
• Minimize downtime and maintain plant productivity.
• Develop, improve, and follow preventive maintenance procedures and schedules.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and support continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with production and engineering to improve performance.
