Job summary

NVR, Inc. operates a Maintenance team at its Prince George, VA manufacturing plant. The role focuses on installing and repairing electrical systems and performing general maintenance to keep plant equipment running efficiently.

Qualified candidates have 3 years of industrial maintenance experience, can read electrical schematics, and work safely in a fast-paced environment. The position offers a 2nd shift schedule (3:30pm–2:00am, M-F) and competitive pay.

Qualifications

• 3 years’ experience as an industrial maintenance technician.
• Ability to read electrical blueprints and schematics.
• Ability to work in a strong safety-focused environment.
• Must meet the physical requirements of the job.
• Demonstrate mechanical, electrical, and general maintenance knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and maintain machinery and equipment in a manufacturing plant.
• Identify and repair equipment safety hazards and perform safety repairs.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance throughout the plant.
• Replace or repair components including wiring, PLCs, motors, sensors, and controls.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose faults, and carry out repairs.
• Follow electrical codes and Lockout/Tagout procedures.
