Leadec Corp. in Charleston, SC is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to support the maintenance team with preventive and corrective tasks on highly automated production equipment.

You will work on process carts and general production machinery, including PLC-controlled systems, in a 100% on-site role. The position emphasizes safe work practices, strong troubleshooting, and timely repairs, with responsibilities spanning PM tasks, documentation, and continuous improvement through root-cause

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred.
• Experience in maintenance in automotive/industrial environments desirable.
• Journeyman's card preferred; 1–3 years maintenance/fabrication experience.

Responsabilités

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on automated and PLC-controlled equipment.
• Log tasks and parts in Maximo; follow work orders and PM plans.
• Troubleshoot electromechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics and electrical components.
• Support safety and EHS initiatives and ISO quality objectives.
• Provide rapid response to breakdowns and document work performed.
