Job summary

HandCraft Services in Richmond, VA is seeking an industrial maintenance technician to service and repair heavy equipment and electrical systems. You will perform safety-focused PMs and inspections, diagnose faults quickly, and support operations to maintain high OEE.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in industrial maintenance, strong mechanical and electrical fundamentals, and the ability to work hands-on in a fast-paced environment. Weekend/holiday scheduling flexibility is required.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications are welcome.
Two+ years of industrial maintenance experience or equivalent background.
Strong mechanical/applied electrical knowledge and problem-solving skills.
Comfort with fast-paced, hands-on environment and safety-first mindset.

Responsibilities

Zero shortcuts on safety: you own safe work practices and follow LOTO procedures.
Proactive reliability: routine inspections and PMs to reduce unplanned downtime.
Swift diagnostics: locate faults in mechanical and electrical systems and repair quickly.
Cross-functional partnership: coordinate with operations to sustain high OEE.
Clear traceability: maintain complete maintenance records including inspections, PMs and repairs.
Team lift: collaborate with peers and mentor junior technicians.
Versatility: take on additional maintenance tasks as needed.
