Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands in Auburn, WA is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician II to support manufacturing operations. You will diagnose and repair electro‑mechanical systems, perform preventative maintenance, and adjust control circuits to keep equipment running at peak performance.

The role requires 3+ years in a manufacturing environment, knowledge of Lock-Out/Tag-Out, and the ability to read schematics and blueprints. Strong teamwork and safety compliance are essential.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in related field is desired.
• Minimum 3 years’ maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of and experience with Lock-Out, Tag-Out procedures.
• Able to adhere to safety policies and customer quality requirements.
• Must be available for standby assignments and overtime as required.
• Proficient in Word and Excel; training Level I Technicians may be required.
• Intermediate knowledge of fabrication, welding or basic machining.
• Ability to read printed materials, blueprints, schematics and computer graphics.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair complex electro-mechanical problems with manufacturing equipment.
• Perform detailed setup on equipment including recipe changes and control adjustments.
• Repair and maintain mechanical components in top operating condition.
• Perform preventative maintenance tasks following instructions.
• Diagnose electrical control circuits, sensors and motor control circuits.
• Troubleshoot PLC inputs/outputs and repair issues.
• Enter completed work in computer-based maintenance program.
• Train Level I technicians in more complex tasks and skills.
