Job summary

Advanced Technology Services (ATS) seeks a maintenance technician to keep factory equipment running smoothly. You will perform mid to expert level break-fix and preventative maintenance, troubleshoot control systems, and support CI initiatives with data and improvements.

The role requires an Associates degree with a technical focus and 3–5 years of related experience, or completion of the ATS Technician Progression Program. Expect onsite work in a factory setting with safety highest priority.

Qualifications

• Associates degree with a technical focus and 3 years of related experience in general industry; or 5 years of related experience in general industry or completion of ATS Technician Progression Program.
• Understands electrical, mechanical, fluid power and control systems; able to analyze problems and perform repairs.
• Must be able to use basic hand tools and specialized tools as appropriate.

Responsibilities

• Performs mid to expert level break-fix and preventative maintenance, including locating root causes and repairing devices.
• Identifies and sources parts, supplies and repair items as necessary.
• Performs maintenance independently per industry standards.
• Operates multiple machining tools (lathe, drill press, grinder) and may perform welding tasks.
• Updates CMMS history and supports CI activities for cost savings.
• Troubleshoots control systems and analyzes software/hardware issues.
• Assists lower-level technicians and participates in training.
