Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Associate degree with a technical focus and 3 years of related experience in general industry; or 5 years of related experience in general industry or completion of ATS Technician Progression Program.
• Understands electrical, mechanical, fluid power and control systems; able to analyze problems and perform repairs.
• Able to use basic hand tools and specialized tools as appropriate.
• May be required to travel.

Responsibilities

• Performs mid to expert level maintenance and break-fix, including observing devices in operation to locate root causes, dismantling parts, repairing or replacing defective parts, testing performance, and reconditioning machine tools.
• Identifies and sources parts, supplies and repair items as necessary.
• Independently performs maintenance per industry standards.
• May operate multiple machining operations and may perform welding tasks.
• Keeps 5S and housekeeping standards; updates CMMS history.
• Drives CI activities by analyzing processes, results and cost savings.
• Troubleshoots and analyzes control systems to resolve software/hardware issues.
• Provides assistance to lower level technicians and participates in training and development.
• Complies with safety policies and identifies unsafe conditions.
