Job summary

Advanced Technology Services (ATS) is seeking a maintenance technician to keep factory equipment running efficiently. You will perform break-fix and preventive maintenance, troubleshoot control systems, and support a team in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Applicants should have an technical associate degree or equivalent experience, strong hand-tool skills, and readiness to travel as needed. ATS emphasizes safety, quality, and continuous improvement in daily operations.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent (GED).
• Associates degree with a Technical focus and 3 years of related experience in general industry; or 5 years of related experience in general industry or successful completion of the ATS Technician Progression Program.
• Understands electrical, mechanical, fluid power and control systems. Can analyze problems and perform repairs.
• Must be able to use basic hand tools and specialized tools as appropriate.
• May be required to travel.

Responsibilities

• Perform mid to expert level maintenance including diagnosis, repair and testing of industrial devices.
• Identify and source parts, supplies and repair items.
• Set up and operate machining tools such as lathe, drill press, grinder; may weld.
• Follow 5S and housekeeping standards.
• Drive continuous improvement activities and review CMMS history.
• Troubleshoot control systems and use predictive maintenance data.
• Mentor lower-level technicians and participate in training.
• Complete on-the-job and technical self-study for career development.
• Follow safety policies and identify unsafe conditions.
