Zusammenfassung

ATC, a market-leading remanufacturer of powertrains, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to install, maintain, and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems in an industrial setting.

Responsibilities include testing equipment, reading blueprints, repairing machines, wiring, and modifying components while adhering to IATF 16949 quality standards and safety policies. The role is on-site in Michigan.

Qualifikationen

• Associate degree or equivalent from a 2-year college or technical school in maintenance or related field and 2 years technical experience in industrial maintenance or an equivalent combination of education and experience in a manufacturing environment and can demonstrate a mastery of at least two (2) of the essential maintenance skills.
• Able to follow both written and verbal instruction.
• Strong computer skills.

Aufgaben

• Inspect and test machinery and equipment as required to ensure proper function.
• Troubleshoot machines or equipment to detect malfunction and discuss machine operation variations with operators or other maintenance workers to diagnose problems or repair machines.
• Dismantles defective machines and equipment and installs new or repaired parts.
• Cleans and lubricates shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery.
• Replaces and repairs electrical apparatus, such as transformers and wiring, and electrical and electronic components of machinery and equipment.
• Mastery of reading blueprints, electrical or hydraulic schematics and other technical materials.
• Lays out, assembles, installs, and maintains pipe systems and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, and repairs and replaces gauges, valves, pressure regulators, and related equipment.
• Repairs and maintains physical structure of establishment.
• Installs, programs, or repairs automated machinery and equipment and programmable controllers.
• Set up and operate machine tools such as lathe, grinder, drill, and milling machine to repair or fabricate machine parts, jigs and fixtures, and tools.
• Operates cuttings torch or welding equipment to cut or join metal parts.
• Diagnoses malfunctioning apparatus, such as transformers, motors, and light fixtures and replaces damaged or broken wires and cables.
• Diagnoses and replaces faulty mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components of machines and equipment.
• Initiates purchase orders for parts and machines.
• Logs time and materials allocations to ensure accurate records.
• Design and fabricate machine and equipment modifications as needed to achieve customer satisfaction.
• Recommends measures to improve production methods, equipment performance and quality of product.
• Responsible for adherence to the policies, procedures and instructions of the IATF 16949 quality systems.
