Job summary

Advanced Technology Services (ATS) is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician in Pennsylvania to perform mid to expert level break-fix and preventative maintenance on industrial equipment in manufacturing settings.

You will identify root causes, source parts, and document CMMS history while participating in continuous improvement activities. The role may involve machining tasks on lathe, drill press, and grinder, and may include welding as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Associates degree with a Technical focus and 3 years of related experience in general industry; or 5 years of related experience in general industry or ATS progression program.
• Understands electrical, mechanical, fluid power and control systems; able to analyze problems and perform repairs.
• Must be able to use basic hand tools and specialized tools as appropriate; travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Performs mid to expert level break-fix & preventative maintenance; observes operation to locate root cause and repairs components.
• Identifies and sources parts, supplies and repair items as necessary.
• Independently performs maintenance per industry standards.
• Sets up and operates machining operations (lathe, drill press, grinder) and may perform welding tasks.
• Updates records and reviews CMMS history.
• Troubleshoots and analyzes control systems to resolve software/hardware issues and configuration problems.
• Drives CI activities to improve processes and cost savings.
• Provides guidance to lower level technicians and participates in training.
