Job summary

Biewer Lumber, LLC is seeking an Industrial Maintenance professional to service and repair production equipment across our facility. You will troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems to minimize downtime and maintain critical equipment in a fast-paced, safety-conscious environment.

Responsibilities include installing, maintaining, and modifying production equipment, calibrating systems, and training operators on preventive maintenance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• General lumber knowledge such as board sizing and quality terminology/requirements.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions.

Responsibilities

• Service and repair machines and equipment to improve production efficiency.
• Install, maintain, repair and modify production equipment per blueprints and manuals.
• Troubleshoot motors, gear boxes, drives, and belts using mechanical aptitude.
• Calibrate and align equipment and test repairs.
• Maintain inventory of equipment, parts, and supplies.
