Job summary

SIG SAUER, Inc. is seeking a Preventative Maintenance Technician I for first shift in Newington, NH.

The role focuses on preventive and predictive maintenance in a modern industrial facility, working from drawings and manuals, with collaboration across Engineering, Manufacturing, and Operators. The entry-level position requires basic hand tools knowledge, ability to follow written and verbal instructions, and a willingness to travel to SIG SAUER facilities.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent. ASE certification, trade apprenticeship, or equivalent with a minimum of 3 years' experience.
• Must possess a valid driver's license.
• Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and computerized maintenance management systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on facility machinery under supervision.
• Maintain documentation of parts usage and daily paperwork.
• Assist with equipment repairs and servicing; follow safety and ISO procedures.
• Perform basic plumbing, pneumatic, and hydraulic tasks on machinery.
• Rebuild pumps, maintain coolant systems, and manage waste in accordance with EHS requirements.
• Travel to SIG SAUER facilities as needed; participate in 5s and sustainment activities.
