Job summary

SIG SAUER, Inc. is seeking a Preventative Maintenance Technician I for our modern manufacturing facility in New Hampshire. This entry-level role uses drawings, manuals, and instructions to perform maintenance tasks and collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Operators.

The position requires basic hand tools, meters, and the ability to follow written and verbal directions. Travel to all SIG SAUER facilities is expected, with on-site shifts and a focus on safety and ISO procedures.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• ASE certification, trade apprenticeship, or equivalent with a minimum of 3 years’ experience.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and CMMS.

Responsibilities

• Under supervision, perform preventative and predictive maintenance on facility machinery using established SIG procedures.
• Document parts usage and complete required daily paperwork.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area and comply with safety rules.
• Assist with equipment repairs in manufacturing production lines.
• Perform basic plumbing tasks on machinery and coolant systems; plumb pneumatic lines.
• Rebuild pneumatic and electrical pumps; maintain coolant systems.
• Manage lubrication and filter changes; ensure proper labeling of oils.
• Support continuous improvement projects and travel to SIG SAUER facilities.
