Job summary

ATS is seeking a maintenance technician to perform entry to mid-level break-fix and preventative maintenance in a factory setting. The role includes identifying parts, performing repairs, and supporting team members, with adherence to safety and 5S standards.

You will update CMMS records, participate in continuous improvement activities, and may operate basic machining tools or welding as needed. Strong fundamentals in electrical and mechanical systems are required.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent (GED).
• Associates degree with a Technical focus or 18 months of related experience in general industry or completion of ATS Technician Progression Program.
• Understanding of basic electrical and mechanical systems. Can perform repairs.
• Must be able to use basic hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Performs entry to mid-level break-fix and preventative maintenance. Includes adjusting parts, repairing or replacing defective parts, and reconditioning machine tools.
• Identifies needed parts, supplies, and repair items.
• Supports other department members as needed by leadership.
• Ensures compliance with 5S and housekeeping standards.
• Participates in CI activities—processes, results and cost savings.
• May operate simple machining tools (lathe, drill press, grinder) and perform basic welding.
• Updates CMMS records and history.
• Performs basic troubleshooting of control systems circuitry.
