Job summary

ATS in the United States is seeking an entry- to mid-level Maintenance Technician to perform break-fix and preventive maintenance in a factory setting. You will adjust devices, replace parts, identify supplies, and support the maintenance team.

You will troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems, run basic machining tasks, and document CMMS history while following 5S and safety policies. This role offers growth through internal training and participation in continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or GED or equivalent required.
• Associates degree with a technical focus or 18 months of related experience required.
• Understanding of basic electrical and mechanical systems; able to perform repairs.
• Must be able to use basic hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform entry to mid-level break-fix and preventive maintenance.
• Identify needed parts, supplies, and repair items.
• Provide support and back up for other department members as needed.
• Ensure compliance with 5S and housekeeping standards.
• Participate in CI activities—processes, results and cost savings.
• Set up and operate simple machining operations and basic welding as required.
• Update CMMS records and review history.
• Perform basic troubleshooting of control systems circuitry.
• Complete technical self-study programs for career development.
• Follow safety policies and identify unsafe conditions.
