Job summary

MITER Brands in Texas is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician to perform repairs on assigned equipment and facilities while safely supporting the production team.

You will follow safety policies, complete work orders, document maintenance tasks, work with outside contractors, and maintain proper inventories. Foundational electrical knowledge and the ability to read schematics are important for reliability and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Technical or trade school degree preferred, or HS diploma/GED plus 2 years in maintenance.
• Basic understanding of industrial electricity.
• Knowledge of energy sources for utility equipment (electric/hydraulic/pneumatic). PLC experience a plus.
• Maintain plant utilities: lighting, water and drainage systems.
• Ability to read schematics and blueprints; diagnose with meters.
• Follow OSHA & company maintenance safety rules (Lock Out Tag Out).
• Communicate clearly with team; work independently when directed.
• Strong math and analytical abilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform all work safely following company policies.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair equipment in assigned area.
• Communicate with maintenance staff and supervisor.
• Document work orders and maintenance tasks accurately.
• Complete maintenance documentation and Proteus entries as required.
• Perform tasks under close supervision; assist outside contractors as needed.
• Provide information to maintain proper parts inventories.
