Job summary

Amentum is seeking a General Maintenance Technician I to join our team in East Peoria IL. Typical work schedule is 2nd shift - 2:30pm – 11:00pm; hours may vary based on business demand. Weekend hours may be scheduled to support our 24/7 operation.

Responsibilities include PMs, repairs to pumps and ventilation, monitoring facility equipment, data collection, and performing other duties as assigned. Candidates should have 1–2 years of industrial maintenance experience and a high school diploma.

Qualifications

One or Two years of preferred experience performing mechanical maintenance in an industrial environment or demonstrated equivalent combination of education and experience.
High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Facility Maintenance PMs, Repairs to Pumps, Ventilation, and other facility equipment repairs.
Analyzes maintenance repair requests and identifies problems and implements solutions, repair, and inspection of facility fixtures.
Monitoring Utility and Facility Industrial equipment such as Air Compressors, Boilers, Water Testing, Oil Samples, Collecting Data.
Complete other tasks as assigned by management.
Must be willing to work overtime when required.
May be required to work holidays and weekends.
Other duties as assigned.
