Job summary

Simplot Company is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic for the High Bay Freezer to independently and collaboratively perform preventative, predictive, and routine maintenance on complex plant equipment. You will troubleshoot, repair, and optimize performance while ensuring safe, efficient operations across the facility in demanding cold environments.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED and 3+ years of related experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years related experience and/or training.
• Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics and mechanics.
• Ability to read and interpret documents and drawings.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative, predictive, and routine maintenance on high-bay freezer and warehouse equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and conveyors.
• Ensure maximum equipment efficiency and uptime.
• Maintain and repair equipment in freezing environments (as low as -5°F).
• Write repair and maintenance reports.
