Job summary

George's Inc. is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician to repair and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical equipment in the facility.

The role includes performing preventative maintenance and reading technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics. Candidates should have 5+ years of relevant experience, pneumatics and hydraulics, basic welding, a valid driver’s license, and the tools to perform the tasks.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
5+ years of experience in machine maintenance, building maintenance, preventative maintenance, carpentry, electrical, heating and cooling systems, plumbing and/or electrical
Experience working with pneumatics and hydraulics
Basic welding experience
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics
Have or obtain tools needed to perform the above tasks
Operational knowledge of common hand, power, and industrial tools
Valid Driver’s License

Responsibilities

Perform daily, weekly, and monthly preventative maintenance in assigned area.
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
Perform repairs and equipment installation/removal efficiently.
Maintain clean and organized workstations.
Respond to plant emergencies as directed by supervision.
Lock out / tag out certification.
Complete daily maintenance paperwork for work orders and checklists.
Undertake special projects as assigned by supervisor or manager
