Job summary

George’s Inc. is seeking an Occupational Maintenance Technician to repair and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical equipment in the facility.

The role also covers performing preventative maintenance on all equipment in the assigned area and working with a range of tools and machinery. The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent and 2+ years of maintenance experience, with ability to read manuals and schematics.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and 2+ years experience in maintenance fields.
• Able to read/interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
• Have or obtain tools needed to perform tasks.
• HVAC, electrical, plumbing or related maintenance knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly preventative maintenance in assigned area.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical/electronic equipment used in the facility.
• Perform repairs and equipment installation/removal in an efficient manner.
• Maintain good housekeeping at workstations and work areas.
• Respond to plant emergencies including Haz-Mat incidents, equipment malfunction, fires, severe weather, etc.
