Job summary

Ionbond – The Surface Engineers in Greensboro, NC seeks a skilled Maintenance Technician to support production equipment through proactive maintenance, timely repairs, and rebuilds. The role spans electrical, mechanical, and general facility maintenance, reporting to the Plant Manager and collaborating with a cross-functional team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in an industrial manufacturing maintenance role.
• Degree or certification in Engineering, Technical, or Trade education preferred; diploma/GED minimum.
• Experience with Vacuum Technology and fault isolation to determine root cause and repair.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on equipment, clean line, and other plant machinery to ensure optimal operation.
• Document maintenance histories, notifications, and drawings including blueprints and schematics.
• Troubleshoot and repair vacuum systems and high-voltage components.
• Assess repair needs and prioritize actions to minimize downtime.
• Monitor equipment performance and uptime to reduce breakdowns and improve reliability.
• Collaborate with managers and process engineers to address interruptions and downtime.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace and support 6S and safety culture.
• Perform additional duties as needed.
