Job summary

CMC is seeking a maintenance technician to support our industrial facilities in Jacksonville. You will diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical systems, using SAP maintenance modules and QMOS for tracking and reporting.

The role requires reading blueprints and schematics, coordinating with teams, and adhering to safety protocols across rotating shifts. Ideal candidates have strong welding/fabrication exposure, 1–5 years in heavy industrial environments, and the ability to work in extreme

Qualifications

• Requires a High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum 1–3 years in heavy industrial operations or manufacturing preferred.
• Ability to read hydraulic schematics and troubleshoot systems.

Responsibilities

• Participates in safety programs and upholds safety culture.
• Diagnose malfunctioning systems using test equipment and tools.
• Use SAP to execute work orders and track actions.
• Lead maintenance projects and coordinate with peers and contractors.
• Interpret blueprints and schematics to determine part specifications.
• Monitor equipment for defects and replace faulty parts.
• Prepare mechanical maintenance reports and analyze trends.
