American Wood Fibers, Inc. is seeking a Third Shift Industrial Maintenance Technician for its Laurinburg, NC location.

The role involves troubleshooting and repairing production equipment, performing scheduled maintenance, and ensuring safe, efficient operation of machinery. The ideal candidate has 2+ years in industrial maintenance, knowledge of bearings, power transmission, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems, with the ability to read schematics and operate CMMS.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Experience with bearings, power transmission, VFDs, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled maintenance and emergency repairs on production equipment.
• Set up machinery for scheduled production runs.
• Repair bearings, drive systems, motors, VFDs and hydraulic/pneumatic systems.
• Read manuals and work orders to perform maintenance.
• Operate forklift and other mobile equipment safely.
