Job summary

Sheridan is hiring an Industrial Maintenance Tech 3 with a weekend night shift (Mon–Fri, 11:00 PM–7:00 AM). You’ll perform emergency repairs and preventive maintenance on complex production and facility equipment, working independently to keep operations running smoothly.

Minimum 4 years in a similar role with mechanical and electrical skills, plus the ability to read schematics, is required. Overtime pay, a $2,500 hiring bonus after 12 weeks, and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 4 years’ experience in a similar position.
• Mechanical and electrical skills required.
• Ability to read electrical schematics.
• Basic verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to diagnose and make complex repairs on equipment.
• General knowledge of all building trades.
• Good interpersonal skills; team player.
• Basic computer skills.
• Must be highly motivated and able to work independently.
• Ability to learn the job and perform work productively and safely.
• Reliable with good attendance.
• Must work mandatory overtime or be on emergency call as needed.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently.
• Continuous standing; walking and stooping; occasional crouching and overhead reaching.
• Good visual acuity and manual dexterity; wear hearing protection and safety shoes.

Responsibilities

• Complete emergency repairs and preventive or routine maintenance of production and facility equipment.
