Job summary

TSG - The Sheridan Group is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Tech 3 for weekend days to handle emergency repairs and preventive maintenance on a variety of production and facility equipment. You will work independently to support our manufacturing operations and must read electrical schematics and manage multiple trades safely.

The role offers overtime pay at 1.5x after 40 hours, a 25% premium for day shift hours, and a $2,500 hiring bonus after 12 weeks, with extensive training and growth

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED/HiSET required.
• Minimum 4 years of related experience.
• Mechanical and electrical skills required.
• Ability to read electrical schematics.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to diagnose and repair complex equipment.
• General knowledge of building trades.
• Good interpersonal and team skills.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Must be motivated, able to work independently and learn quickly.
• Reliable with good attendance.
• Must be able to work mandatory overtime or be on emergency call as needed.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs., stand/walk frequently, and wear safety gear.
