Job summary

North American Stamping Group is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Tech for second and third shifts in Portland, TN. The role focuses on maintaining and repairing stamping/production equipment to keep facilities running at peak efficiency, supporting preventative and predictive maintenance, and collaborating with engineering and quality teams.

The position offers a $2,500 signing bonus paid in two installments after 180 working days, with overtime and occasional travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent; college/trade school preferred or 5 years related work experience.
• Experience with stamping presses up to 2000 ton and automated high-speed assembly equipment.
• Experience with automated resistance welding and robotic welding cells.
• Experience with PLC-based control systems and hydraulic/pneumatic systems.
• Familiarity with CAD software for electronic drawings and GD&T.
• Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair plant production equipment and building assets to keep equipment ready to run.
• Perform preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance as directed by the maintenance manager.
• Document work with detailed electronic work orders and report root causes and fixes.
• Coordinate with engineering, production, and quality to support internal/external customers.
• Assist in training maintenance staff and participate in process-improvement projects.
• Ensure safety and cleanliness; comply with all policies; overtime and infrequent travel as required.
