Job summary

North American Stamping Group in Portland, TN is seeking a Transfer Press Operator for the 3rd shift to safely and efficiently operate stamping presses and related equipment. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and continuous improvement aligned with NASG standards.

Join a family-owned manufacturer with a strong track record in automotive components; a $750 signing bonus is offered for new hourly employees who complete specified weeks, with installments at 90 and 180 days.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Demonstrated basic math skills required.
• Experience in assembly/manufacturing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate stamping presses and auxiliary equipment.
• Maintain 5-S cleanliness and order in the station.
• Initiate start-up and adjust after setup.
• Changeover and set-up of stamping dies and presses.
• Adjust process parameters per Die Set-up sheet.
• Set-up and adjust coil feeders and straighteners.
• Conduct part inspections per instructions.
• Report updated information to Leaders as needed.
• Verify production schedule in Shop Edge.
• Report quality, production or safety problems to Team Leader.
• Maintain 5-S standards in area of responsibility.
• Suggest methods of improvement and participate in programs.
• Available for overtime as required.
