Job summary

JBS Foods is seeking an hourly Facilities Maintenance Tech for 1st shift in Mason, OH. The role performs basic and routine facilities maintenance, construction, and repair tasks according to safety standards.

Starting pay is $25-$35 per hour based on experience. Candidates typically need 3-5 years of related industrial maintenance experience, with ammonia refrigeration experience preferred and solid electrical troubleshooting skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent certification.
• 3-5 years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Ammonia refrigeration experience preferred.
• Ability to troubleshoot and fix electrical issues.
• Wastewater treatment plant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor water treatment facility performance for regulatory compliance.
• Monitor refrigeration system and maintain proper temperatures with minimal supervision.
• Inspect electrical systems and troubleshoot faults.
• Install and start up production machines and plant equipment.
• Resolve maintenance problems promptly with minimal production disruption.
• Follow lock out/tag out procedures and perform PMs.
• Keep maintenance history logs and complete paperwork.
• Adhere to GMP and safety rules.
