Job summary

Midwest Refrigerated Services, Inc. is seeking a Site Maintenance Technician to independently manage daily maintenance at our Belvidere facility. You will troubleshoot electrical systems, perform preventive maintenance, and coordinate with operations and vendors to minimize downtime.

Qualifications

Minimum five years hands-on commercial/industrial maintenance experience.
Must demonstrate practical troubleshooting and CMMS competency.
English communication skills required at all levels.

Responsibilities

Serve as primary maintenance resource for the facility and manage daily needs with limited supervision.
Plan and prioritize work based on safety and operational impact; ensure productive days.
Inspect, diagnose, and repair equipment; test operation and prevent repeats.
Coordinate vendors, obtain quotes, and verify completion of deficiencies.
Document work orders with problem descriptions, troubleshooting, root cause, and actions.
Maintain tools, parts, and costs; follow safety and food safety policies.
Read electrical diagrams and install branch circuits with code-compliant workmanship.
