Job summary

JBS Foods in Mason, Ohio is seeking an hourly Maintenance Tech for the 1st shift. The role starts from $28 to $40 per hour, depending on experience, and includes competitive benefits.

You will troubleshoot and repair production line equipment, read blueprints, install and maintain electrical systems, and support plant maintenance programs. Candidates should have industrial electrical experience, PLC knowledge, and the ability to work in varied temperatures.

Qualifications

• Industrial/commercial electrical background with high-speed production line experience.
• Ability to read blueprints, layout, install & maintain a wide variety of electrical equipment and processes troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, plumbing & electrical controls.
• Must be able to work in a variety of temperatures and conditions.
• 3-5 years of experience in the installation, troubleshooting and maintenance of production line equipment.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair production line equipment.
• Inspect, maintain repair and overhaul electromechanical and solid-state electrical equipment, using a variety of electrical test equipment, meters, powered and non-powered tools and equipment.
• Provide maintenance services ensuring that all equipment is in good repair and in a safe operating condition.
• Install new electrical and electronic equipment and electrical wiring according to the National Electrical Code and company electrical standards.
• Maintain and repair electrical and electronic systems for Project facilities and production equipment.
