Job summary

Eaton is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the 1st shift at the Sherman, TX site. The position offers an hourly rate of $31.86 per hour and involves performing routine maintenance to keep equipment running smoothly, with a focus on safety and reliability.

You will drive improvements in Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost and Inventory (SQDCI), troubleshoot issues, install equipment, and carry out preventive and predictive maintenance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of industrial maintenance experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Eaton does not sponsor immigration visas for this position; no CPT/OPT/STEM OPT.
• No relocation benefit; candidates must reside in Sherman, TX area.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure smooth operation.
• Drive improvements in Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost and Inventory (SQDCI).
• Collaborate with team to resolve issues and follow up on preventive actions.
• Support continuous improvement activities and troubleshoot technical issues.
• Install equipment, perform preventive and predictive maintenance, and repair.
• Operate lifts and adhere to safety requirements.
