Job summary

Altium Packaging is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production machinery and plant equipment in Harvard, IL. The role requires following GMPs and working a 12hr-D shift with potential overtime.

Responsibilities include installing and repairing blow mold equipment, changing tooling, inspecting hoses and pumps, and wiring/fabricating components. OSHA forklift certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirements include basic math, basic computer skills and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics is preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent education is required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
• Install, adjust and repair blow mold, trimmers and related equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance on production machinery and plant equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair blow mold, baggers and support equipment.
• Operate blow mold or injection machines as needed.
• Coordinate with other departments and follow lead technician instructions.
• Overtime may be required based on business needs.
