Job summary

Accelera Staffing is seeking a maintenance manager for a multi‑shift industrial facility. You will lead 6–10 technicians, drive preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance, and coordinate with production to maximize machine availability.

The role requires strong troubleshooting across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, plus PLC diagnostics, OSHA knowledge, and CMMS proficiency. On‑site leadership is essential in a 24/7 environment.

Qualifications

Minimum five years in industrial maintenance within a manufacturing setting.
Experience leading a maintenance team of 6–10 people; two or more years of leadership preferred.
Troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems; PLC diagnostics.
Experience in a 24/7, multi-shift facility with rapid, effective decision-making.
Ability to interpret complex blueprints, manuals, and equipment documentation.
Comprehensive understanding of OSHA standards and safe industrial maintenance practices.
Strong communication and organizational skills; CMMS experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Set daily maintenance goals, delegate tasks, and allocate resources to meet production needs.
Direct response to equipment failures; oversee diagnostics and verify repairs before operation resume.
Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance; tackle recurring issues.
Mentor technicians; assess training needs; conduct reviews; maintain safety and quality standards.
Coordinate with Maintenance Scheduler/Planner to manage work orders and reduce backlog.
Maintain accurate documentation of tasks, repairs, and service history.
Ensure Lockout/Tagout, confined space, electrical safety, and other protocols are followed.
Manage spare parts, vendors, and contractors to enable efficient repairs and quality outcomes.
Provide updates to production management and Plant Engineer on status and priorities.
