Job summary

Ecobat is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Supervisor in Indianapolis, IN to lead maintenance teams and manage preventive and corrective activities. The role focuses on minimizing downtime, troubleshooting complex mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems, and aligning with safety and quality standards.

The candidate will oversee schedules, allocate resources, and drive improvements in maintenance practices to support production targets and cost control.

Qualifications

• Interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Minimum 10 years in industrial maintenance in an industrial setting.
• At least 5 years of supervisory experience; union experience a plus.
• Proficiency with maintenance management software and data reporting.

Responsibilities

• Directs workers in maintaining structural, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Oversees dismantling, assembly, and installation of equipment.
• Provides plans, blueprints, and job orders; assigns duties to workers.
• Monitors work hours, production schedules, and time records.
• Ensures work orders/PMs are completed accurately and closed timely.
• Enforces safety regulations and communicates policies to staff.
• Complies with environmental, health, safety and housekeeping programs.
• Additional duties as assigned.
